i was just gonna post the same guestion...i did it one time before....i have
a backup of the /wgserv area of my wg 3.20 bbs system...and if i rember
right i had to run the wg cd to get the hooks back in the beast...after i
xfered the dir over..but what order do you do it?
do you install wg with the cd install program in demo mode and then just
delete the /wgserv area and put your version of wg back in? or do you put
the /wgserv backup of yours on the hd and then run the wg install program
after the fact to get the hooks back into the machine to know the program is
installed
there was a way to do it without a completely fresh install..but its been
awhile

Because Worldgroup uses registry settings for it's database settings,
which won't exist in on the new machine. But, you do zip up the whole bbs
and install a new worldgroup on your new machine, then unzip your old bbs
over the new install.
