the tw2002 by hvs for wg is non-supported these days
the code etc is now back with the author..but i heard he never got the hvs
stuff back for source etc
anyway...in my view you want to get the tw2002 gold server that runs as a
server 16nodes...and up to 100 games i think ...he has a wg mode for the
games as well as a standard tw mode..for those who liked the old wg
version...it has like prob 8 yrs of bug fixes over the old version..it is
supported..and i think if you prove that you are an old reg tw2002 owner you
get a free reg key
the link is below..if nothing else run it on a sep port (i use what else
2002) along with your wg 3.0 version on the same windows machine...if your
running a dos version of wg you have to link it via rlogin or whatever on
another machine...
anyway..this is the link
http://www.eisonline.com/twgs/beta/
if you are interested in games there is also a legend of the red dragon door
game port to the web .it is a web based version called "legend of the green
dragon" it runs on a linux box i think..but is kinda interesting...it pops
up easy on a google search..
i also had the 4node version of hvs tw2002..this setup the tw2002 gold
server is years ahead
also...it is still supported the link i gave you the last update was sept
2004....last month

p.s. any other www based games of note that people know a sysop can run as a
web game or like the tw2002 server?
wait..found another server link..it is called
space quest 2112
http://www.x-bit.org/sq2112.htm
that is kinda a hoot too..
anyway...those are the only ones i can think off offhand that i would run
(easy to put up/setup/interesting) if i had my old system back up...
any others post them here....so others know about this stuff
anyway my 2c worth
